Green roofs - with beautiful visual and environmental effects

Green roofs give a better visual effect around their locality. The response time of surface runoff decreases. Further they effect environment positively. Today due to excessive urbanisation, the greener area in cities has been reduced significantly. And this is a good approach to address the problem. Some argue that this result in increased infrastructure cost due to addition of a permanent dead load on top roof. The answer is that yes it is., but the cost is not as much if we compare the environmental benefits of green roofs.
