Appraisal vs Resignation meetings

Appraisal and resignation meetings are two important events almost everone have to experience in his/her career. They are totally different and there are a few interesting differences mentioned below.
An appraisal meeting or Resignation meeting
Appraisal

Resignation

In appraisal meeting board will speak only about your weakness and failure

In Resignation meeting they will speak only about your strength and past accomplishment

In appraisal or assessment you may need to even  cry for 10% hike

In resignation meeting you can easily demand or get even without asking more than 50-60% HIKE and/or get other benefits

During an appraisal board will probably  delay your promotion saying that you did not have leadership qualities, and that you did not meet their expectations

During resignation board may say that you were the core member of the company or department, you are the asset and vision of company, and How can you go?

There are 90% of chance of not getting any considerable incentives after an appraisal meeting.

There is 90% chance of being offered instantaneous hike after you put your resignation…
